On May 13, 2021 (Thursday), the Meycauayan College Community Outreach and Extension Office (MC COEO) announces the opening of its own #MCCommunityPantry at the MC Main Campus as part of its initiative to help those in need during this hard season.
LJ Micca Cabrera of MC COEO announces the initiative online on Facebook to start collecting donations. In lieu of the ongoing Modified Enhance Community Quarantine (MECQ), however, the school will only be accepting donations online through GCash.
“Layunin po ng Community pantry na aming gagawin ay ang matulungan ang ating mga kababayan na labis na naapektuhan ng pandemyang ito.” , Ms. Cabrera said.
“Ika nga po nila, maliit man o malaking donasyon ay magiging isang malaking biyaya para sa mga kababayan nating naapektuhan ng pandemyang ito. Nanininiwala po kami na sa gitna ng pandemyang ito mangingibabaw ang pagmamahalan at pagtutulungan nating mga PILIPINO.”, she continued.
