Meycauayan College, Inc. joyfully celebrated Institutional Teachers’ Day on October 6, 2025, at the Dr. Jose R. Locsin Multi-purpose Hall, honoring the unwavering dedication, passion, and hard work of its beloved educators. The event was spearheaded by the College Department, with the full support of the administration, faculty, alumni, and student organizations.
The celebration began with a Thanksgiving Mass presided by Fr. Dan Cancino, MI, Vice Provincial Superior of the Philippine Province, who reminded everyone of the sacred calling of educators to serve with compassion, patience, and love. The mass set the tone for a meaningful and joy-filled day of gratitude and fellowship.
The program continued with lively and heartfelt performances as selected students from the Elementary, High School, and College Departments showcased their talents through intermission numbers dedicated to their teachers. Adding more excitement to the evening were fun activities such as a raffle draw, BINGO games, and a sumptuous dinner that everyone truly enjoyed.
During dinner, teachers were serenaded by the MC Live Band, filling the hall with music and appreciation. As a token of gratitude, each teacher received a tote bag—a special giveaway filled with love and appreciation from the MC Alumni and Administration.
Heartfelt thanks are extended to the Supreme Student Council (SSC) for assisting in the program and providing giveaways to all teachers. Meycauayan College also expresses its deepest gratitude to the SELG of the Elementary Department, MCSG of the High School Department, The College Chronicle, and the MC Camera Club for sponsoring the giveaways and contributing to the event’s success. Special thanks are also given to Mr. Rommel Concepcion for his excellent photo and video coverage of the celebration.
It was indeed a memorable and heartwarming celebration—a day filled with joy, music, gratitude, and love for the teaching profession. Truly, it was a Happy Teachers’ Day at Meycauayan College, where the spirit of appreciation for educators shone brightly throughout the celebration.
