The lights dimmed, the crowd roared, and the 101st Founding Anniversary of Meycauayan College, Inc. closed on a high note as the much-awaited Coronation Night of Mr. and Ms. Meycauayan College, Inc. unfolded at 6:00 p.m. at the MC Quadrangle.
The stage turned vibrant and electric as candidates confidently strutted down the runway and delivered a high-energy production number, drawing cheers from fellow MCians. Representing different academic areas and organizations, the candidates embodied grace, confidence, and campus pride.
For the female division, contenders included Lorecel S. Lopez of the Area of Business Administration (Junior Council of Business Executives), Kate Chloe A. Soriano of the Area of Criminal Justice Education (Vanguards of Peace and Justice), Dannah Flores Valle of the Area of Education, Arts and Sciences (Psychology Society), Marielle Venice D. Datig of the Area of Hospitality Management and Related Programs (Hotelier Society of Meycauayan College), and Ma. Hannah Lorraine A. Delos Santos of the Area of Accountancy and Allied Courses (Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants).
Competing in the male division were Johnsev V. Mateo of the Area of Business Administration (Junior Council of Business Executives), Nathanael Imbal of the Area of Hospitality Management and Related Programs (Hotelier Society of Meycauayan College), Jinnoel M. Quemada of the Area of Accountancy and Allied Courses (Junior Accounting Technology Society), Eries C. Manrique of the Area of Education, Arts and Sciences (Future Mentors Society), and Carl Lewen Mendoza of the Area of Business Administration (Junior Financial Executives).
Emerging as Ms. Meycauayan College, Inc. 2026 was Kate Chloe A. Soriano, dubbed the “Fierce Future Policewoman” of Criminal Justice Education. She dominated the night, sweeping multiple awards including Best in Victoria’s Secret Themed Attire, Best in Candy Themed Attire, Best in Denim Attire, Best in Production Number, Best in Casual Attire, Best in Sports Attire, Best in Formal Attire, and Designer’s Choice Award by Sir Eugene Camillo.
Crowned Mr. Meycauayan College 2026 was Jinnoel M. Quemada, hailed as the “Pilyong Gwapitong Future Abogado” of Accountancy and Allied Courses. He also received Best in Casual Wear and Designer’s Choice Award by Mr. Camillo.
Johnsev V. Mateo was named 1st Runner-Up in the male category, earning several special awards including Best in Denim Attire, Best in Candy Themed Attire, Best in Summer Attire, Best in Production Attire, Best in Sports Wear, Best in Formal Wear, and Designer’s Choice Awards from Rafa Concepcion, Benny Francisco, and Marshee Navarro.
In the female category, Lorecel S. Lopez secured the 1st Runner-Up title, along with Best in Summer Attire and Designer’s Choice Awards from Benny Francisco and Marshee Navarro. Nathanael Imbal was named 2nd Runner-Up in male category with a special award – Best in High Fashion Attire representing the Area of Hospitality Management and Related Program. Ma. Hannah Lorraine A. Delos Santos was proclaimed 2nd Runner-Up, representing the Area of Accountancy and Allied Courses under the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants. Special recognition was also given to Eries C. Manrique as Mr. Photogenic and Dannah Flores Valle as Ms. Photogenic both from the Area of Education, Arts and Sciences.
As crowns were placed and confetti filled the air, the coronation night not only concluded the weeklong festivity but also highlighted the excellence, confidence, and pride that define every MCian.
The celebration honoring Mr. and Ms. Meycauayan College 2026 reached its heartfelt finale as the PATHFIT students, Meycauayan College Private Movers, and Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Physical Education students, took center stage. Representing the strength and discipline that was both a tribute and a testament to Filipino culture.
More than just a performance, it was a tribute, celebrating not only the newly crowned Mr. and Ms. Meycauayan College 2026 but also the enduring beauty of Filipino identity. As the final formation struck and applause filled the air, the PATHFIT students left the stage having done more than conclude the program—they ignited cultural pride and school spirit in every heart present.
The night closed not with a goodbye, but with a reminder: tradition lives on when the youth choose to carry it forward—step by step, beat by beat.
